In the early '70s, Cathy Rush became the head basketball coach at a tiny, all-girls Catholic college. Though her team had no gym or uniforms, and the school was in danger of being sold, Coach Rush steered her girls to their first national championship.

Not a bad movie, but I didn't love it. The plot was alright, but there were some parts that were a little too slow for my taste. I think I may have been expecting more because the library user ratings are so high. I would reccommend others to try to watch this movie with no expectations, and you may enjoy it more than I did?
Gives a new perspective to how hard women have fought to be respected as athletes. Makes me wonder why Abbotsford would want a lingerie league after seeing this.
What a wonderful movie! It's based on a true story, and gives a look at what people thought of women working in the early seventies. Even if basketball isn't your thing, it's a great underdog story. Besides, how cool is it to find something G-rated for adults?
A very good heart-warming movie. Go Macs! I wonder what it was really like being one of the players on the team.
