Add a CommentInspired by true events Sanctum is a story of death and survival in the world's largest cave system located in remote New Guinea. Frank McGuire and his son as well as members of the spelunker team become trapped when a cyclone floods the entrance to the caves. There is an alternative way out of the caves if those trapped can find an undiscovered passage to the ocean. Short on time and supplies the group embarks on an adventure to freedom through the vast cave system with its dangerous underwater passages.

Some great shots in the underwater cave but plot could use a lot of work.
based on a true story lots of added action. makes a good thriller
Great special effects and cinema in the first 20 minutes of the show and went flat afterwards. Those folks wearing T-shirts deep inside the cave and submerged in the underground water should have been immobilized of hypothermia and exhaustion.
Okay movie. Probably better if you like diving in caves.
What a brutal, collosal waste of time. This could have been a beatiful intense movie, but awful music, worse characters and cheesy over-acting sucked any chance for enjoyment out of this movie. I would rather watch that J-Lo / Affleck train wreck than ever see this again.
